Done as a segway into my concentration for AP art back in high school. I was trying to figure out what to focus on, and just sat diwn and drew. I ended up using "space" as my concentration, not overly specific, but it left me with many options. I think this fits well in that category.

I like charcoal due to the bold contrast (using white paper anyway). Plus, anything messy can't be bad thing.

That's why they make extra large beds...fit more stuff under there. The whole "loft" was made for this reason...it's a secondary closet to shove things haphazardly into a pile. Loft= Loose objects fit together.

Step 1: Place unwrapped charcoal on paper
Step 2: Stimulate nerve endings in some manner.

I don't think i can give more advice. Just depends on what you want to do. Abstract, realism, or just creat charcoal dust.
